Hello,
I have no option to create a zipped folder, as the image below shows

i can only create WinRAR folders. this is a new computer, so maybe something is missing? I installed winrar shortly after completing the system installation. So how do i get the 'create zipped folder' option again? thanks

    Hi Name1MK,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

May I know if this screenshot is from your computer or if you download it from the internet?

If it is yours, you can click on WinRAR Archive to create a Zipped folder, after that, you can add your files to it. Or you can create a regular Folder, add your data to it, then right-click on it > Add to archive to be a zipped folder.

If it is not yours, try to uninstall and then install WinRAR to see if these options would available for you or not.

    Hi Name1MK,

    Thanks for updating me.

To fix the issue, kindly try the steps below:

1-Create a regular folder and name it.

2-Right click on it > Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.

3-The WinRAR zipped file should be created. Right click on it > Properties > Change Open with to Windows Explorer > OK

Now, the zipped files should be opened with the default Microsoft File Explorer as before.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Yes, the picture is mine. but my problem is that I don't want winrar to be my default 'zipped folder' option. I want the regular zipped folder to be my default. whenever i create or choose 'send to' a zipped folder, it creates a winrar file. i want it to create a zipped folder file like normal
