Hello, I have a secondary monitor attached to my Win11 desktop. This monitor has no controls for adjusting brightness, color or anything whatsoever.

Is there a way to do it through Windows settings? It is too bright for me right now.

Thanks

    Hello!

Maybe I was uclear. My PC is a desktop with no built in monitor. Both of my monitors are external ones. There is no brightness slider in the windows settings as you described.

One of my monitors has buttons and a menu for control of brightness etc. My other monitor has no buttons and no menue to change brightness, so I was hoping to get a suggestion on how to change it on that one.

    Thanks!

Hi, I'm Elise, and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

Could you follow these steps to adjust the brightness:

Step 1: Open the Windows Settings app.

Step 2: When it opens, go to the sidebar and click "System," then "Display."

Step 3: Scroll down to the section titled "Brightness & Color."

Step 4: Use the slider under "Brightness" to adjust the brightness of your built-in display.

Step 5: Close the Settings app when you are done.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise
