Hello! As the title says, my Discord notifications are not showing up on my screen. I get the notification noise but it no longer pops up in the corner. my notifications are enabled in both Discord and the notifications in the windows settings. I thought to ask here about this and not on Discord support because other people who have the latest version of Discord on their PC's and told me that they don't have this problem. I've had people spam notifications but I never see them. only hear.

Hello, I had the same program causing discord to not send banners as Mohammed above. The clean boot fixed the notifications but now discord doesn't start on startup and I don't see it in the list of startup programs.

EDIT: Had to re-enable NVIDIA LocalSystem Container for GeForce Experience to work, But it hides discord notifications. Any fix?

I have narrowed down the problem and for me it was this that was causing my discord to not appear notification banners.

    Thank you

Hi Mitch. I'm Greg, ten time MVP award winner, here to help.

Make sure Focus Assist is Off in Action center (right end of task bar) as it will block notifications.

Then double check App Notification settings in Windows 10:

If all is set correctly then try these fixes for Discord notifications not working in Windows 10:

Feel free to ask back any questions. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.

Hello, the clean install method along with cleaning the cache worked for a few days, but now its back to not showing the banners again.

Any advice? I will be doing what Derrick19 below said as my next action. But if you have any tips, please let me know. Thanks!

    Hi

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

From your description, is it possible that your anti-virus software or third-party security software intercepted his notice? You could try to uninstall all these anti-virus security software.

You could reinstall this app to see if the problem still exists? At the same time, you could perform a clean startup to eliminate the problems caused by third-party interception.

(Disclaimer: A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It helps to determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program and to isolate the cause of a problem. These steps of "clean boot" might look complicated at first glance. However, to avoid any trouble for you, please follow them in order and step-by step so that it will help you get you back on track.)

By the way, when did your problem happen? Have you done anything else?

Looking forward to your further news.

You are welcome to reply to this topic at any time, and sincerely thank you for your support of Microsoft products and services.

    Best regards
