I uninstalled my graphics card from my laptop in device manager

As the topic suggests, I uninstalled my graphics card in device manager. This happened due to my Nvidia GeForce not working, my computer was acting slow when doing things like, watching a stream, watching a video or playing video games. I updated my Nvidia GeForce but it didn't fix the problem I was having. So I deleted it. After I did that, my Nvidia GeForce disappeared from the display adapters in the device manager. I later found out that it was hidden, so I unhid it and it appeared. After I made it appear I deleted it thinking it would appear back into the display adapters, but it hadn't appeared after that and I have not been able to use anything Nvidia GeForce related. I wiped my computer to see if that fixed the problem, but the problem continued. I even tried updating my windows to see if it would install my drivers but nothing happened.

My laptop specs are as follows:

Model: 2021 ASUS TUF Gaming A17

Processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11260H @ 2.60GHz 2.61 GHz

Installed Ram: 8.00 GB (7.74 GB usable)

Device ID: 3A4C2F9C-238B-48D0-B4DB-7CA2D1DBB225

System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Pen and Touch: N/A

    I looked for similar cases and found some cases involving Asus laptop. In several, the user was able to make the graphics card show up again in Device Manager using the "Armory Crate" application.

    What has been done is to turn on "iGPU mode" and then turn it off. In some cases, the device "Microsoft Display adapter" was displayed, which is the Nvidia video card with the generic driver from Microsoft.

    See if this works for you too.

    Follow the instructions below:

    1. Right-click on the Microsoft Display adapter and select "Update driver";
    2. Select "Browser my computer for drivers";
    3. Select "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer";
    4. See if, in the list displayed, you will have the Nvidia driver. Then, select the Nvidia driver from the list and click Next.

    Sorry. For a moment, I don't know why, I thought we were dealing with a desktop.

    Thanks for the screenshot.

    In this case, I suggest you use a restore point created before the problem started and see if the Nvidia card will reappear.

    1. Press "Windows + R", type RStrui and press Enter;
    2. In the "Restore System Files and Settings" window, select "Next".

    Note: If on this screen you have two options to choose from ("Recommended restore" and "Choose a different restore point"), see if the "Recommended restore" is before the problem started. If so, select "Search affected programs" and proceed as in step 4. Or select "Choose a different restore point" to see the list of available restore points and proceed to Step 3.

    1. Select the restore point you want to use from the list of results, then select "Search affected programs".

    Note: If you don't see the restore point you want, check "Show more restore points".

    1. You will see a list of items that will be deleted if this restore point is run. If you are satisfied with the exclusions, select Close > Next > Finish.
