Hello,
I just updated my VS 2022 to 17.0.2 and created a WinUI 3.0 based project to test XAML designer view in it.
I tried open XAML designer view in the project but failed because there's no XAML designer view in it.
When will we use xaml designer view in WinUI 3.0 project?

Reality is that with the designer one can see what one is doing in real time - edit the XAML and the effect can be seen. This reduces time wasted in running and debugging. It also allows for better testing. Also the differences in the window shapes (rounded corners, etc, mean changes have to be made to the XAML used in previous designs (UWP, WPF) to compensate and having the design view would help with this also.
Come on guys, let's get something sorted, I thought VS was designed to make life easier for developers ,not add to their workload.

I am supposed to somehow just visualize what my xaml looks like while I'm editing the code?
Or run the program, dig into the window that I need, and somehow clunk around in debug mode?

This is madness! As far as I'm concerned the Xaml Designer is a vital part of VS no matter what the destination platform of my project. It's unbelievable that MS would have left it out. Does anyone know if it's going to be returned to VS or have I been left 'high and dry'.
