HEIC COdec for Windows 10 I

I Purchased de HVEC Extensions, but no changes to get the photos into Photoshop or images or videos into a video and photo presentations.

Windows Store have an entry for free extensions:

But when clicking into GET and then OPEN, it goes to some video binders in my PC

I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.

The description in MS Store says, "Images that are stored in HEIF files that have the .heic file extension are compressed using the HEVC format. Such files require the HEVC Video Extensions package to be installed as well. If the HEVC Video Extensions package is not installed, the HEIF Image Extension will not be able to read or write .heic files."

I think you will have to install the HEVC Video Extensions too.

1. Images are right, they can be opened with other programs
2. It is not just Photoshop, they could not been opened with other old programs. For instance the old XAT.com Image Optimizer. If I point in Photoshop (for example) a binder I could correctly see all images to select, but when trying to open it says that it coild not complete my request because it is not the right kind of document
3. But I could open them with the old Windows Movie Maket

Trying to input some photos to a Booking.com hotel evualuation, i received this response to load an heic photo:

"Ha habido un error al cargar tu foto

"20220330_171013.heic". Aún no soportamos este tipo de archivo. Prueba a subir un archivo .jpg, .jpeg o .png"

There were an error when loading your photo. We still do not support this kind of files. Try lo load an jpg, jpeg or pnf format
