Not able to access IRCTC website either on web or mobile or IRCTC App from last two days_Abroad

Hello~

I am living abroad. I have been not able to open the IRCTC website for the last two days. Every time, I get this message:

This site can’t be reached

www.irctc.co.in refused to connect.

Try:

  • Checking the connection
  • Checking the proxy and the firewall ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.

Solutions I already tried:

  1. tried a VPN for India. Didn't work.
  2. tried the IRCTC rail connect app. Didn't work.
  3. Tried different browsers/clearing cache/different countries. Didn't work
  4. Contacted IRCTC. They replied with funny solutions like 'don't use XP, update your web browser, etc. etc."

NOTE: The site is working in India. I am especially talking about people outside India. Please try and let me know the solution for the problem.

Is it my system problem or anything else?

    Not now. It's strange because I gave you the Down Detector for the site and it says it's not reported to be down. But I cannot connect at this time. That is also the site address reported by a google search.

    1. For Edge, repair it in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Microsoft Edge > Manage > Repair, also reset in Edge Settings > Reset Settings.

    1. If that fails uninstall the browser (except Edge) in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features, restart PC then reinstall browser from fresh download:
