linx 1010b, no audio device installed issue.
i have an old linx 1010b tablet running windows 10, i have just changed from linux to windows 10 and i cannot get the sound to work, i have ran the troubleshooter, i have looked on every forum for the answer but i cannot find an actual fix.
all windows updates are up to date, i have tried to download the drivers from the manufacture but still no fix and i know that there is no actual issue with my tablet because when i was running linux it worked perfectly so it is a windows issue. im hoping someone can help me out or if someone has had a similar issue they have managed to fix.

2022-05-17T19:18:48+00:00 i have just spoken to them via phone and the issue is that the linx 1010b needs a model-specific Windows image installed, as a generic Windows image will cause compatibility issues with some hardware devices on the tablet so they have just sent me a link to an iso file to try, right now i dont have a usb stick to hand to try however once im back at home i will test and update you.

2022-05-17T19:00:55+00:00 Thanks for the feedback. The page you indicated is for a different model than yours and that is why the drivers provided may not be compatible. The driver is a software component that sits on the layer between the Operating System (Windows) and the hardware, Windows has many generic drivers for various types of devices, but it seems that in your case these drivers are not enough. Have you checked with Linx support if there are drivers for your exact tablet model? If it doesn't exist, they may tell you which audio chipset is used on it and from there we can try to find a more suitable driver.
Maybe even if you go back to the Linux installation (where everything works), it's possible to identify which exact audio component is used.
