Event 41: PC gets black screen + restart when playing certain game. Bugcheck Code 0x0

Randomly while playing Halo MCC (Steam) I get a black screen then it restarts and takes me to my lock screen. It only happens in Halo. I can play other games for hours with no issues. I'll just be playing and suddenly my screen goes black, then it begins booting back up.

I used DDU to uninstall my drivers after replacing my GPU. I also just redid that process and the issue is persisting. When I run DDU, do I need to uninstall my audio drivers?

I disabled fast boot and my ram are both running at the same speed. Problem is still persisting.

When I go into Event Viewer and select "event properties" it says:

BugcheckCode 0
BugcheckParameter1 0x0
BugcheckParameter2 0x0
BugcheckParameter3 0x0
BugcheckParameter4 0x0
SleepInProgress 0
PowerButtonTimestamp 0
BootAppStatus 0
Checkpoint 0
ConnectedStandbyInProgress false
SystemSleepTransitionsToOn 0
CsEntryScenarioInstanceId 0
BugcheckInfoFromEFI false
CheckpointStatus 0
CsEntryScenarioInstanceIdV2 0
LongPowerButtonPressDetected false

Again, the issue is only happening with one game. I'm going to reinstall that game and see if it helps...

    Hi xake83k,

Without dump file data this can be very hard to diagnose, when you uninstalled your video card device drivers with DDU, have you tried installing a few different slightly older versions of your GPU drivers, the new versions can sometimes be unstable.

    No, there isn't.

    Hi xake83k,

In the C:\Windows folder, is there a very large file named Memory.dmp?

Reinstalling did not help. My PC does not have a Minidump folder where you said it should be.

    Hi xake83k,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

If re-installing the game does not resolve this, please check to see if your PC is producing any minidump files, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes.

    Open Windows File Explorer.

    Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up.

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox... etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link.

Then post the link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you.
