Perhaps not everyone is using search. Would be nice to know how to disable it, because a process that's not needed can be disabled.

What causes SearchApp.exe to start running after ending the task in Task Manager? I end the task and then it shows up again a while later.

SearchApp.exe is a process that is related to the search bar on your taskbar;
So if you finish the task it will start automatically later;

SearchApp.exe is responsible for ensuring that the search bar works properly;
If you disable the service you may have problems with Windows search;
Clicking on the search bar starts the process;
