how to completely wipe everything off my laptop so that i can give it away.

Hi,

Please could you send me directions to completely wipe everything from my laptop so that I can give it to someone else without needing to sign into my account. It is a Hp stream laptop.

    I am Sumit here to assist you with this question.

    There are two options.

    Perform a PC Reset and choose to Clear everything. This deletes everything on the computer so that you can safely donate or sell it.

    Open Start menu>Settings app.

    Go to System>Recovery options at the end.

    Under Recovery options, click Reset PC.

    Choose Clear everything when prompted.

    Another option is a full reinstall using USB drive.
