I have seen several sources claiming that, since its 23rd anniversary in 2018, Windows 95 is legally available as a free app to download. I have been unable to find anything on the official Microsoft website stating this, and all of the forum answers stating that it is not the case are from pre-2018. So, is it true that Windows 95 is available as a free download, and if so, how does one attain it?

Hi Launchdog22, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.
It isn't an official app from Microsoft but was created by a Slack developer. See here for more details.
