Bluetooth headphone's microphone not detected in windows 10/11/

Hi,

I currently have Windows 11 installed on my pc (upgraded last month) and the issue I am facing is that when I connect my Bluetooth headphone, only the speakers works and the mic doesn't get recognized. I am facing this issue from the very first time I connected to Bluetooth. I searched a few months back for the solution but any of them didn't work for me. I thought that it might be an issue with the headphone's driver so today I purchased another Bluetooth earphone but the issue is the same. I tried reinstalling drivers twice then also nothing changed.

Hi Mohammad, my name is Neil, and I'm a Windows 10 user like you.

Sorry you're having trouble getting your microphone to work on your Airdopes 141.

When you have connected them via Bluetooth, there are two states that the headset can be in. One is Headphones where the mic is not used and the other is Headset, where the Mic is used.

The default connection is normally Headphones, and so you have to manually switch them to Headset mode.

I have Airpods and this is what I have to do with these.

To do this, click on your Volume icon in your System Tray.

You should see a little up arrow ^. See pic below for an example.

    Hi.

Thanks but this solution also didn't work.

I tried adding the device as an input device then also it is not working and the properties page is blank.

Is the issue with the driver on my laptop?

As I get the same issue with the other two Bluetooth devices of the same brand.

But I have already tried reinstalling them😢.

    Hi,

Could you try the following for me please:

Go to Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Add Device

Click on Bluetooth so it starts searching for a device

Now, take only ONE earbud out of the case.

See if your Bluetooth can find the earbud. If it does, click on it to pair it.

You should now have Headset Mode.

Let me know if this works.

    Kindest regards,

    Neil

Click on this and it should bring up a selection of audio options for you. One of them should be to select your Airdopes Headset mode.

See pic below for what I see with my Airpods. As you can see, in the pic mine is currently set to Headphones, but there is an option above this to use them as a Headset. You should see something similar after clicking on the up arrow above your volume.

Let me know how you get on.

    Kindest regards,

    Neil
