Facing regular BSOD due to memory management faults even after Downgraded from windows 11 to 10

I have Lenovo Ideapad gaming 3 which came with preinstalled windows 11 and its specs are: (Ryzen 5 5600H,8GB RAM,512 GB SSD, Nvidia GEFORCE GTX 1650) .After the installation of update April rollout, My windows 11 was getting into BSOD crashes showing error(MEMOERY_MANAGEMENT), It happened continuously after that even after I took some preventive measures against it . Then, Had to downgrade to windows 10 because of that, but after the 2022-05 cumulative update for windows 10 version 21H2 for x64-based systems(KB5013942) , windows started giving BSOD error again showing (MEMORY_MANAGEMENT) .

Also, my memory and disk shoots to 100% everytime which is a regular occurance as well. So, pls recommend what should I do next to solve this issue from bottom to up??

Hi Sidhant,

unfortunately, it did not name any driver. Since your computer came preinstalled with Windows 11, I would suggest performing a clean install of Windows 11 because all the issues happened after a Windows update:

After that, monitor your computer to see if it would be stable or not.

    I did try to expand the BSOD behavior using winaero-tweaker to show a little more details about the BSOD, The result showed some extra hexadecimals on the BSOD screen like so,

    On further research, I found out that,

    • 0x3F resolves to Incorrect removal or uninstallation of any software(could it be possible that this occurs due to the manual downgrade I tried earlier?)

    I could not find any relation for the other given hex values.

    Also I have made sure that my system is not overclocked.

    Hi Sidhant_1Pandey,

    Thanks for updating me.

    I am afraid that without minidump files it would be hard to indicate the root of the issue. Kindly check to see if there is a Memory folder instead of Minidump folder.

    However, there are more factors behind memory corruption, try the steps below to fix the issue:

    1-Check for updates:

    Go to Settings > Update and Security > Check for update > install all the pending updates

    2-Uninstall the graphics card driver completely using the DDU free tool:

    Then, install the latest driver provided on the manufacturer's website.

    3-Uninstall any third-party security software and scan for viruses & malware with the free Malwarebytes:

    4-Run Command Prompt as administrator. Type this command and hit enter:

    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    Then, type this command and hit enter:

    sfc /scannow

    5-If you are overclocking your PC, try running everything (CPU, GPU, system memory) at their stock speeds. See if the issue is still reproducible. Or, turn off XMP profile or set it to Auto.

    6-Download then install the latest version of BIOS & Chipset drivers from the manufacturer's website.

    7-Test the RAM with the free utility MemTest86, then run a full 8 pass scan to test your RAM for physical errors:

    9-If you are comfortable of doing so, take all the system memory sticks out, examine them for any obvious defects, and then reseat them into the sockets. Make sure that they are seated properly in their slots. If you have multiple sticks of system memory installed and you suspect one is faulty, one thing to try is to reproduce the issue with only one stick of memory module at a time. This will help you to isolate the faulty module.

    10-If the issue still persists after the steps above, enable the driver verifier and let the computer crash 4 times then disable it and share the newly created minidump file:

    Thanks for reply!! But i am not able to find the minidump file in the path specified in your reply. So, can you tell me how can I find that required file??

    And also , Recent BSOD mentioned the error (REGISTERY_INDEX) which is new because previous ones were related to Memory management.

    Kindly check C:\Windows\Minidump and copy available minidump files to the desktop then share them via One Drive or Google Drive in order to be analyzed and indicate which file is causing the crash.
