    Hello MariaHoebeke,

Thank you for updating me with that information. I apologize that the above methods did not resolve the issue.

Please try the additional method below.

Press Start then search Device Manager

    Expand Biometric Devices

Find the Fingerprint driver in the list

Right click it and select Uninstall

After that, download and install the latest driver for your device using the link below.

    Restart your computer

Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns.

    Kind regards,

    John DeV

**Please try to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter  - Done – Nothing…..see attached 1-3

**Please try to Update, Rollback or Uninstall your Device – I updated, the Rollback is disabled and I uninstalled and reinstalled and restarted after everything. – Nothing worked

    Open Device Manager

Expand Biometric Devices > Right click your fingerprint device

Click Update driver. select Search automatically for updated driver software

or Right click then Properties > Driver Tab > Roll back driver if not disabled

If this doesn't work, Click Uninstall device. Delete the driver software for this device check box, and then select Uninstall. Restart your computer

Right click it and select Update
