In conclusiion I would say if you are looking for Crypto Mining then it is legit and not a virus, but it is a Crypto Miner which have their own downsides explained fully in the above links so this is enough for some AV's to flag them and for them to be generally considered risky. Use AYOR!

Also this is a good opportunity to download and install free Malwarebyes from https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/ and AdwCleaner from http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcle... which are the most powerful free scanners out there right now and good tools to keep on hand.
