In case you are using Windows 10 and it has been activated and your device is compatible with Windows 11, you may upgrade to the Windows 11 for free. The upgrade is free but it is only available for Windows 10 devices which their hardware are compatible and are activated.

you have to upgrade to Windows 10 first, I'm afraid. I successfully did this for free (search the net - I have a new computer and didn't transfer this information across to it) - but the upgrade to my laptop worked brilliantly. You can then upgrade (for free) to Windows 11 - which is what I am running on this new computer.
