    Hi JenTatum,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

The easiest way for transferring data is using an external hard drive. Open File Explorer > System Drive which is usually C: > Users > Your User Profile > Copy all of the data inside this folder, then paste them onto another computer. And do the same for your computer.

If do not have any external hard drive, you can upload your data into cloud storage like OneDrive or Google Drive.

Please let me know if you need further assistance and keep me updated.

    Stay safe

If you have them setup for sharing you should be able to drag and drop from one computer to the other. Click on, tap, or activate images to enlarge them.

Hello, I am trying to open a MS Win10 Laptop but when asked for the log-on info I am at a loss - I am not sure what Log On info it is looking for. I should mention I am using 1 laptop to access another Laptop and when I go to Win Explorer and search for the computers on my Network I see DesktopAcer and HPLaptop, but if I try to access either I am asked to enter Your Credentials to connect to Acer Laptop; I have L02tu as my User name but I am not sure what password. passcode or Log In the laptop is looking for. It then gives the option to Save the Is there any way to know what the other computer is asking if I want my credentials saved.

You asked if my network is set up for sharing - it's the 1st thing I do whenever I add hardware, but I am not allowed to get that far! Also, I am very familiar with Drag N Drop and Cut N Paste. But I am unable to get past the log in screen info requested by the other computer! I use Dashlane to save all of my passwords and user names so memory is not the problem, but I cannot get past the part of the page requesting my User and Password Info. I have also tried to reverse the direction I am traveling - both HP tp Acer and Acer to HP and no luck with either. BTW, it's a real PITA to be unable to copy/paste into Password boxes! Maybe the programmers could fix that?

So you each want to be a user on both computers? With Microsoft 365 Family it's easy for each of you to get 1TB of cloud storage with access to your cloud files from both devices. End of commercial.
