My Windows 11 looks like Windows 10 somehow

I reinstalled Windows 11 on my computer yesterday because of a driver conflict error. The installation process is quite convenient. Windows was running smoothly, however I have discovered that some elements of the Windows UI look like they belong to Windows 10. I have tried updating Windows to the latest version and installing one. other older ones, but none of them solve the problem.

    Hi k,
I am Sumit here to assist you with this question.

Apparently for clean installing you used a non-Microsoft official Build that was leaked. Because untrusted ISOs might have malware injected into them, I strongly suggest you to download and clean install using a fresh ISO from Microsoft. (Build 22000 is the official Build)

    Download Windows 11
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-downlo...

    Clean Install Windows 11
    https://www.yourwindowsguide.com/2021/09/clean-...

Apparently running Setup.exe and performing an upgrade would work, but in my opinion, you should not trust an unofficial ISO.

Hope that helps and keep us posted.

Good luck - I am pretty sure the Ribbon bug was fixed subsequently with new updates.

    Hi kc,

You are still not fully updated. Please check for updates and install optional updates too. The latest Build is 22000.593.

I did downloaded the Windows ISO Image from this link: Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com).
When the problem occurred, I tried to install this build 21996 from a 3rd party but the problem persisted. I have now deleted the entire partition and reinstalled completely using build 22000, however I can still see explorer using the Windows 10 Ribbon UI.

    My Specs:

    • Mainboard: MS-7A38
    • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5-3600 6-core
    • Memory: 2x CMK8GX4M1A2666C16 (2x8GB)
    • Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX 1660 6GB OC
