Hi, I am Van. I'll be glad to assist you today.

Yes, you can do so. First, go to your user account AppData folder. Inside the folder create a new folder, this will be the folder path of the game or program you want to install.

Install the game or apps, in the installation process, go to the advanced option to choose the destination folder in which you want to install the apps. Browse for the folder you created.

Note: If you cannot see the AppData folder from the list, you will need to unhide it first. Click the start menu then type file explorer option. In the file explorer option window, go to the View tab then tick the Show hidden files, folders, and drives. Click apply then ok. Browse again the destination folder, it should now display the AppData folder on the list.

Once done, the shortcut of the app or game is still shared for all the users on the PC. However, they will not be able to run it if they don't have access to your user account folder. Or if they do not know the exact folder path of the apps. Kindly see attached image for added reference.

    Best regards,

    Van

Hey, thanks. I was wondering if I could install the software in a certain file that allows it to be installed to the appdata of my account, w/o appearing on any other accounts.

Typically the software you install chooses this if it offers or forces it.

You can attempt to install to the user's own folder (or maybe it has to be user/AppData/Local but I don't know as never actually wanted to try this) which is inaccessible to any non-admin users and might do the trick.

If its available from Microsoft store, that should install per user as well.

It could be possible for there to be another way.
