I was doing my homework on PPT and turned off my laptop after that. It was all okay until 3 hours later i turn it on again and suddenly "Sihost.exe system warning. Unknown hard error" popped up on the screen. And then i clicked "x". my laptop went blank screen and changing between the menu screen and blank screen repetitively. I cant click on anything except click shift+restart. Almost all my files are in "This PC" and i think im gonna die if all my files corrupted. Does anyone know what should i do to fix this without losing all my files and apps? I need your help as fast as possible T_T thanks in advance

Please use another system and download media creator tool from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

Create a bootable media drive and then use the drive on your system having issues and boot into it.

On the installation screen choose region and currency then click on repair your computer on next screen

Click on advance options and then on troubleshoot then on startup repair.

Let the process finish then remove the installation media and restart the system.

Check if this resolves the issue.

If you are unable to access the control panel too but are able to use lockscreen use these steps :

Press Windows logo key + L to get to the sign-in screen, and then restart your PC by pressing the Shift key while you select the Power button > Restart in the lower-right corner of the screen.

Your PC will restart in the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) environment.

On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > advance options > system restore.

    Hello SpaceX03,

    I am Jaspreet Singh.

Try force shutting down your system.

Press and hold the power button till your system shuts down then press it once again to power it on. Check if the issue persists after this.

If the issue shows up again you may need to revert to a previous restore point when the system was working properly.
