    If you click the start menu button on the taskbar (or press the windows key on the keyboard), click the power icon at the bottom right, then select shutdown.

    Hi

    How can I add a power button to the task bar? There is no option in the taskbar settings for personalisation.

    I also wonder why such a fundamental button has been moved such that it now requires an additional unnecessary click? Why make things more complicated?
