Hi fellas, After installing windows 7 and then the driver pack solution the windows are just popping up three pop-ups after starting which is very frustrating. The first is start searcher at the right top of the screen, the other is "An error has occurred in the script in this page, Line 195, char 11, Error dataset is null, code 0, URL: file:///c:/SearcherBar/js/localization.js" and the messiest and frustrating is "cannot find .startup file" which popup continuously after canceling again and again.

SS are attached. Please, help.

    What "driver pack solution"?

    1. Windows 7 does not come for free; you would have had to either buy it years ago or had it come preinstalled on your machine.
    2. Your machine manufacturer would also have to support and supply Windows 7 drivers for your exact model number.

I suspect that you installed some third-party "driver pack" -- which is always a very bad idea -- and as a result, you installed the "SEARCHERBAR" browser hijacker malware. If you used "DriverPack Notifier" -- which is known to install SEARCHER BAR -- you should uninstall it.

It seems, however, that whatever you have for an antivirus/antimalware solution has at least partially disabled SEARCHERBAR.

Although there are various websites with directions for removing SEARCHERBAR, many of these sites are themselves a bit sketchy. I suggest starting by downloading Malwarebytes (https://www.malwarebytes.com/) and running a complete system scan. The Malwarebytes download is a 14-day free trial. If you don't want to pay for it, you can either uninstall it or let it be and it will revert to an on-demand-only scanner rather than a real-time protection tool.
