I want to change the background color from black to the accent color; I know how to shutdown/restart Windows ;)
Restore colored shutdown/restart screen
Hello,
I've just switched to Windows 11 and I absolutely don't like the black shutdown/restart/update/Ctrl+Alt+Del screen which had the chosen accent color in Windows 10.
Is there a way to restore the colored screen?
Thank you in advance.

2022-04-24T16:29:24+00:00 Hello Horace,
that's very interesting! While switching the theme, I got a screen with my accent color, and on reboot, I got a white background.
I don't want to use a high-contrast theme, but you have proven that Windows 11 is able to use a background color that is different from black.
I will search for the location where the desert theme is defined, that should show me how to define the background color, and then I should be able to define my desired background color in my theme.
Thank you for this approach!

2022-04-24T15:19:41+00:00 Good day derkallevombau! I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. At the time being you will not be able to change or restore it on how it was when you are on Windows 10 and for this I would suggest to send a feedback via the Feedback Hub app to the team that is working on Windows 11 and hopefully this will be available on the next/future update.
Regards,
Paul R.
