I can't believe that Microsoft can't provide a simple link for Users of Windows to remove these pesky apps.
Windows 11 uninstall McAfee
I am hoping someone in the community could help me. I am trying to uninstall the McAfee Software from my new laptop. I already have Norton 360 and desire for this unit to have Norton and not McAfee.
Thanks... any valid information regarding this on Windows 11 would be appreciated.

I agree with the reply questions_ sent you further up in this thread. In order to remove all of the lingering files in McAfee you will need to go to there site and download the " **McAfee Consumers Product Removal Tool** " the (**MCPR**). Once you download and run this file you shouldn't have any more problems with McAfee.Tip: I wouldn't install Norton either
