I'm John an Independent Advisor and a Windows user like you. I know this has been difficult for you, Rest assured, I'm going to do my best to help you. What is your current Windows version and edition? Press Start then click Settings(Gear icon), select System then About.
Please try the following methods below.
- Update Microsoft Photos app
Open Microsoft Store then click Library
Update Microsoft Photos or click Update all
- Repair Photos App
Press Start then click Settings(Gear icon)
Select Apps > Apps and Features
Find Microsoft Photos in the list then click it
Select Advanced options > Click Reset
- Uninstall Photos App
Press Windows key + X
Click and Run Windows PowerShell(Admin)
Copy and paste the command below then press Enter
get-appxpackage *Microsoft.Windows.Photos* | remove-appxpackage
Proceed to reinstall Photos App
- Go to the Microsoft Store then download and install the Microsoft Photos App
or copy and paste the command below then press Enter
Get-AppXPackage *Microsoft.Windows.Photos* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
Restart your computer
