I have hp 5590 scanning software installed on one win 10 64 bit desktop and it works fine. I have the software installed on a second desktop with same OS. Microsoft scan recognizes the scanner but neither the hp software nor HP print and scan doctor can find the scanner.

Right click on the start button and click on device manager.

Under imaging devices right click on your scanner and click uninstall device.

Confirm the selection and if requested tick the option that says delete device driver too.

Restart your system then download and install these two drivers :

    Hello RobertIppolito,

    I am Jaspreet Singh.

Has a reinstall of the driver files been tried on the second system?
