Hi Sunny PA Wong,
Welcome to Microsoft Community, I will try my best to help you.
I think that if your Apple account cannot log in, you can copy music files to iPod through other third-party software, because mobile devices or music devices cannot directly access the FTP server and must be accessed through third-party software. This is inconsistent with your purpose. I suggest you go to the Internet to find software for iPod transfer files to solve this problem. If you still need to build an FTP server without login verification, please refer to the following:
- Click search on the taskbar, type "Control Panel" and open it.
- Click "Turn Windows features on or off"(as the picture shows)
- Select all nodes under Internet Information Service, as shown in the following figure
- Type "Computer Management" in the search on the taskbar and open it
- Click on "Internet Information Services" on the left, right-click on your computer name, and select "Add FTP Server"
- Enter the name and physical path of the FTP web page (the path to the folder where the files you want to transfer are located, which can be the entire local disk or a single folder), then click "Next"
- Enter the IP address of your computer (usually click the drop-down button of the IP address to directly select) and the Port (default). Check "Start FTP site automatically", select "No SSL" for SSL and click "Next"
- Please select "Anonymous" for authentication, "All users" for authorization, "Read" and "Write" for permissions, and then click "Finish"
This builds successfully. Please open the resource manager, enter ftp://your IP address of the computer in the address bar and press Enter(like ftp://1.1.1.1/ The path does not exist in FYI format), you can see the files on the FTP path, other devices can directly open the path by entering this path under the same network. document.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to let us know.
