Web pages not loading correctly accross different browsers only on my microsoft linked profile.

Hello community.

I trust you are well?

I have this issue for a good while now. Web pages do not always load properly accross multiple browsers. At first I believed it was only on chrome and edge. Now I have found that firefox is also affected. IE11 won't even let me test as it opens the sites I want to test in Edge because of IE11 being end of life. Example below:

So I have done the SFC /scannow repair. I have also done the "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" repair. Further I have also tried completely resetting my browser's settings. On top of that, I have also reloaded a fresh copy of Windows and this is where it gets interesting. The problem seems to persist with my microsoft account linked profile. On other profiles I create the problem does not occur. I also seem to have issues with creating other microsoft account linked profiles on this PC after linking my primary one.

So for me it seems that the issue is linked to my microsoft account. Any ideas?

    I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    There are some factors that can cause this. I suggest you try the procedures below and let me know the result.

    Check the proxy settings:

    1. Press "Windows + R", type "inetcpl.cpl", and click Ok.
    2. Select the "Connections" tab and click on "LAN Settings";
    3. Uncheck "Automatically detect settings";
    4. Also, uncheck the option "Use a proxy server for your LAN..." if checked;
    5. Click OK in both windows.
    6. Close and open your browser.

    If it persists, reset network settings:

    1. Open Start and select "Settings > Network & Internet > Status";
    2. At the bottom of the page, click on "Network Reset";
    3. Select "Reset Now", and at the confirmation screen, select "Yes";
      Note: The PC will need to be restarted.
    4. Now open Start and type cmd;
    5. Right-click on "Command Prompt" in the result list and select "Run as administrator";
    6. At the Command Prompt, type the following commands one at a time and press Enter:

    netsh int ip reset
    netsh winsock reset
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /flushdns

    1. Restart your PC and see if the issue is resolved.

    Hello Sami.

    As I have access to other PC's to do what I need, I have not yet bothered much to solve my issue and think I am just going to reload at some point.

    Not sure how you connect to the Internet... If it is sometimes not connecting at all you may have a faulty network cable or a weak WIFI signal. Have you contacted your ISP to check if the connection is OK?

    You can also try the following:

    Assuming that you have windows 10 or even 11 if you built that PC in the last year or so.

    Right click on the windows start button and then click on Windows PowerShell (Admin).

    In the shell window that opens type the following:

    ipconfig /flushdns (then press enter)

    netsh winsock reset catalog (and press enter again)

    Restart your computer and test.

    If it still does not work correctly you can also try repairing your windows system files by running the following commands in the same PowerShell terminal:

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth (press enter)

    sfc / scannow (press enter again)

    Restart your computer and test again.

    Thank you David.

    I have tried all of that. Keep in mind if I reload windows completely, the problem persists but only in my profile which is linked to microsoft account.

    I have tried many methods as found in other posts like that which you suggested.

    I am aware that you did a fresh install of Windows and the problem persisted in your profile linked to your account.

    Many factors could be causing this. I'm suggesting the procedures that I believe will be the most likely to help you.

    Do you have any VPN clients installed on your profile?

    If yes, uninstall and see if the problem stops.

    Do you have any third-party security software? (Antivirus/Firewall)

    If yes, disable it temporarily and see if the problem stops.

    No VPN clients and tested without AV. Still no go.
