Hi JohanSmuts1.
I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.
There are some factors that can cause this. I suggest you try the procedures below and let me know the result.
Check the proxy settings:
- Press "Windows + R", type "inetcpl.cpl", and click Ok.
- Select the "Connections" tab and click on "LAN Settings";
- Uncheck "Automatically detect settings";
- Also, uncheck the option "Use a proxy server for your LAN..." if checked;
- Click OK in both windows.
- Close and open your browser.
If it persists, reset network settings:
- Open Start and select "Settings > Network & Internet > Status";
- At the bottom of the page, click on "Network Reset";
- Select "Reset Now", and at the confirmation screen, select "Yes";
Note: The PC will need to be restarted. - Now open Start and type cmd;
- Right-click on "Command Prompt" in the result list and select "Run as administrator";
- At the Command Prompt, type the following commands one at a time and press Enter:
netsh int ip reset
netsh winsock reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
- Restart your PC and see if the issue is resolved.
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions.
