Hi! Can I upload animated profile pic on microsoft account in Windows 11. I have uploaded a gif to the profile pic but it is a still image. Is there any way else?

I am Dave, I will help you with this.
Microsoft accounts do not support animated graphics, they only support static image types, even if you upload an animated GIF, only one frame of that file will be displayed, they have not implemented animated profile pics on Microsoft Accounts yet.
Animated GIFs are not supported for Microsoft account avatars in Windows 10 or Windows 11.
Note that I didn't say it can't be done. I said they're not supported. That means if you find some work-around on the internet, you'll have to bear whatever consequences result. 😉
I would really like this. I hopefully upload a PNG of all the Clippit animations as my profile picture. Maybe oneday they will support just the various MSFT avatars for nostalgia.
