Windows 11 Xbox GameBar Can't be disabled

Hi i was wondering if anyone is having the same issue as me
I've toggled off game bar due to it causing issues in some games and messing with overlays on other software that I'm using

I've tried everything including uninstalling the thing through terminal
when game bar is forcefully ejected the process will still try to run resulting in games and other applications sometimes
crashing

does anyone have a fix for this or is game bar simply a windows 11 curse

    Yea, I get this problem too. I disable it in the options but hey guess what? It still shows up in task manager and I still have to constantly turn off this bloatware. Same with gamebar presence writer. I mean when I turn something off, I expect it to be shut off completely. I shouldn't have to use power shell or Windows terminal and input a command.

    Dear JoshiBoidude,in this case I recommend that you try the suggestion below;

    Open Windows PowerShell as an administrator;

    Copy and paste the command below by pressing Enter after typing the command line:

    Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay | Remove-AppxPackage

    Check if Windows still tries to start the application;

    Hope it works, see you soon!
