What happened to the pop-up music banner at the top left of the screen? I liked to use it to see the name of the song without changing my screen, but now it seems to be disabled after I upgraded Windows.

The media overlay was moved as a volume flyout when you click the volume icon in the system tray. If you're not satisfied with it being there, you can use the ModernFlyouts app from the Microsoft Store instead. It is similar to Windows 10's volume overlay but more customizable.
