2022-07-10T07:36:26+00:00 Hi Tiaan Freeman,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant is a service that early users used to log in to their Microsoft accounts (then called Windows Live ID),may I ask where you are currently seeing it? If it still exists on your computer, there is software that still needs it. I suggest you open the Services, find out if Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant is available, disable it in the service, and see if you can turn it off completely. Here are the steps:
- Type services.msc into the start search box and press Enter. This will open the Servicessnap-in of the console.
- In the list of services, locate the service and double-click on it to open its properties dialogue.
- In the Startup box, select “disable”from the drop down, then click OK.
- Restart your PC
Please feel free to let me know how it goes.
