Hello,

Please help me in this matter, I have a Windows system installed on an SSD Kingston driver with a space of about 480 GB, and this drive is connected directly to the motherboard in my computer, and I have another drive of the exact same type, but the size is about 960 GB, and it is also connected to the motherboard of the computer, the problem here is Always when I try to create a system backup or create a system image of my Windows, I only have one partition with enough space, which is one of the two existing partitions from the drive with a space of 960 GB, and when I start creating a system image or backup of the Windows system I have found it some time later it says that there is an error which is the following:

A device which does not exist was specified. (0x800701b1)

Here is a picture of the error:

So I don't know how to solve the problem, and I want to create a system image or backup, but I can't.

I hope someone can help me please.

    Hello,

I tried as you said but the result is a new problem now this empty partition space is 512 out of 516 although there is nothing inside and also when I tried to format it it didn't work and the following message appeared in the image:

    Image

Then display this message after pressing "Yes":

    Image

After I tried and this message popped up, the partition name suddenly changed and became almost nameless, and the name I used initially was replaced by the default (local disk). But when I click "Apply" and then "OK" it succeeds in changing the name but when I try to format it again it comes back with no name.. and so, and this partition is completely empty but it says there is a used space of it even though there are nothing inside it and empty and no open programs in this partition, and no programs as far as i know from any other partition even the system are using this partition,

I also changed the partition letter already and then all of the above happened,

So I hope please if you can help me with these problems.

    Hi,

My name is Igor, I have 12 Microsoft MVP awards. It's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you. I'm sorry you have a problems.

This may be related with B: disk letter, Windows sometimes may suppose A: and B: are a floppy disks. Try to change a letter to D:, E:, and so on.
