Hi,
I tried installing Ryzen Master today after recently purchasing a Windows 10 activation key and noticed a much larger problem was happening. My system is not picking up that I am on an AMD cpu (Ryzen 9 5900X on ASUS x570 tuf gaming motherboard) when I tried to install AMD Software Adrenalin Edition as seen in the first screenshot. This same issue occurs when I try installing AMD Ryzen Master and StoreMI off of AMD's website. Another issue I have noticed is that my main user (THomas D'Agostino) does not show up in my command bar or in the computer management interface when managing the users as seen in the second, third and fourth screenshots. I am not sure why this issue is happening and would really appreciate some feedback on how I can fix this issue as I have had my Ryzen 9 5900X since November 2020 and really want to update the drivers to the most recent chipset, and have been hindered by this issue for a long time.
Thanks

I do not see any issues and I will attempt to explain and provide a resolution to both problems. Please do the following as a reinstall should not be necessary.
User profile issue:
Open up a command box. Execute cmd from the start or run window. In the command box type the following:
echo %username%
Please provide the output from that command as that should provide you with your answer as to which account is associated with your currently logged-in profile.
If you have a damaged profile, reinstalling Windows will not repair it. It would be best to back up the data in the profile (if needed) and delete it. You can then create a new replacement profile with the name of your choosing.
AMD chipset driver:
You need to disable Memory integrity for the AMD software to detect and update your system.
From start, type in Core Isolation and click on it.
Move the Memory Integrity slider to disable it.
Reboot your computer.
Upon reboot attempt the AMD update. If successful, you can re-enable Memory Integrity and reboot.

Whether there are three-party anti-virus software installed in your system? I found that there seem to be avast and other anti-virus programs in your screenshot. These anti-virus security programs may also lead to the interception of ryzen master. You could try to uninstall them, then uninstall ryzen master, restart the computer and install only ryzen master to check whether the problem still exists.
If the problem still exists, perhaps the most effective way is to use the image to repair your system.
This repair process will not affect your data and information but will have a high probability of fixing your errors. This is a system component replacement and repair process, which is somewhat different from the windows reset.
Download the iso file to cover and repair the installation:
(2) Click [Download Tool Now] to download [MediaCreationToolW10.exe] tool.
(3) Open after downloading, and choose to accept after opening.
(4) Click [Create installation media for another computer].
(5) Choose the next step after confirming the language, version and architecture.
(6) Click [iso file], click Next.
(7) Select the download path and name of the file in the pop-up window.
(8) After clicking Save again, the Win10 iso file will be automatically downloaded.
(9) After downloading the iso file, double-click the iso file to open it, click [setup] to open, select [Change the way to download and update Windows installer], select [Not used now], click Next, wait for the completion of the run, and finally select [ Installation], wait for the installation to complete. (Before clicking install, save all the files you are editing)

Hi Derrick,
Thanks for the reply. The Avast software you see was downloaded to meet the need of cleaning my registry (which it did). I also did try uninstalling them and then continuing with the steps you provided, and it still did not work. I will attempt your method you highlighted and let you know the results.
Thanks
Hi,
I got a little confused in the 9th step. I double clicked the iso file, and it redirected me to the first screenshot. I was not sure if what I circled was the proper thing to select since you stated it said "[Change the way to download and update Windows installer]". I proceeded to click "Change how Windows Setup downloads updates" and it brought me to the second screenshot. Same as before, I selected the part that I circled with red even though you said its supposed to depict "[Not used now]". Lastly, it brought me to an applicable notices and license terms agreement which is depicted in screenshot 3. There was no option that stated "[Installation]" or an option to save all the files I was editing. I did not hit accept or decline because I want to double check that I am doing this right. Pardon my lack of knowledge with this, I'm fairly new to windows setup. Also, the fourth screenshot depicts where I got into the setup from (I double clicked on setup.exe). Please let me know if I am in fact doing this properly.
Thanks
