Good day! I'm Raniel, a Microsoft user like you. I understand your frustration regarding this issue and I'll do my best to help.
Kindly run the printer troubleshooter first: Go to Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters Printer > select Run Troubleshooter.
Close all applications that are running on the background and restart the print spooler:
- On you search bar, type "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator"
- On the command prompt window, type
net stop spooler. If that doesn't stop the print spooler service, type "services.msc" > look for "Print Spooler" > right-click on it and select "Stop" - Open file explorer and go to the location C:\Windows\System32\spool\Printers and delete all the files on that folder
- Go back to the command prompt window and type
net start spoolerand try to print again
If that didn't work, another option is to reinstall the printer driver:
- Uninstall all printer software from your control panel
- Press Windows+R on your keyboard and type the command
printui /s /t2and press Enter - Under the Drivers tab, select the printer driver and remove it
- Go to the Ports tab and delete all the printer manufacturer's printer ports
- Reboot your machine, then reinstall by getting the latest printer software and drivers from the printer manufacturer's product support website: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservic...
