Hello, again Manson and once again thank you so much for replying!

This fixed worked for me! once I uninstalled the update the microphone calibration tool worked again, and I also went forward with the second of the update stopping methods as the first one didn't want to download. But once again thank you so much for your help, Manson!

Thank you and have a great day,

    Soren Tyto

Okay, I finally managed to solve the problem, my system files were corrupted so I reset my pc without losing the data and I was able to remove the update without problem and indeed everything works fine again! A big thank-you !!

    Hi Mirt_13,

If the update cannot be uninstalled, please refer to the following steps to uninstall by command:

    On Windows 10,

    1. Click search on the taskbar, enter "CMD", and select" Run as administrator "from the search results to open the Command Prompt.
    2. Type wusa /uninstall/KB :5014699 and press Enter to wait for the update to uninstall.

    On Windows 11,

    1. Right click the Start button to open "Windows Terminal" (Administrator)
    2. Type wusa /uninstall/KB :5014697 and press Enter to wait for the update to uninstall.

Hope it helps! If any update, welcome to share with us.

    Best Regards,
