Onscreen keyboard different from physical keyboard

  1. When I press shift + 2, it gives me ", instead of @ and vice versa for shift + '
  2. Backslash and the straight line are not even typed.

    Please try this if it helps.

    Press Alt+Shift to open the Keyboard layout menu

    Make sure English (United States) US Keyboard is selected and not English (United Kingdom) United Kingdom keyboard

    or

    Click the ENG icon next to the time and date in the lower right corner of the taskbar. Select English (United States) US Keyboard
