easy fix i found on accident! close out minecraft and then download the xbox app and log in with the correct info and then close it out and open minecraft again and the correctly spelled account log in should be an option!
Typo in email address and the fix it here button not functioning.

I’ve been having trouble with getting into my account with the Xbox app but I made a typo and the fix it here button doesn’t work. I can’t get out of the screen where it says this and when trying to log into Minecraft, I can’t get out of the screen either. The email with the typo stays the same and I can’t fix it. (iOS device)

2021-08-11T23:46:38+00:00 I found a solution for this - on a mac or PC if you are using steam to access Xbox, you can clear cache on the steam program itself and this will let you re-log in with whatever username you want.

I've not tried this for iOS, but the same principle should apply. Delete the Xbox app and delete it's data. You may need to go into settings for this. Then redownload it.
