Hi, can someone help me fix this, please? It's pretty bugging me a lot. Why is this so? I know 100% this is NOT part of an update or something, and it isn't enjoyable. It's been like that since day one. I've been using this PC. I saw a similar thread made years ago, but now since I'm using Windows 11, the Windows Explorer is a bit different in UI, and I can't figure it out.

My colleague Dave told me that if you "Right-click an empty space and turn off 'Show All Folders' that should remove 'This PC' from the Desktop folder in the navigation pane.

    Hi Stefan,

I am Sumit here to assist you with this question.

Let us see if Restoring Defaults help.

First ensure This PC is not enabled in File Explorer options, by clicking 3 dots>Options.

    Go to View Tab.

Under Navigation Pane options, please uncheck "Show This PC in Navigation Pane".

If it is already unchecked, click Restore Defaults button and click OK.

See if the issue is resolved.

    Good luck!
