Deleting individual files from SD card on Windows 11

I recently changed over to Windows 11 (new intel 12th gen), and now back to 10 because of one issue, Windows 11 will not let me delete individual files from an SD card, doesn't matter what sort of file it is there is no 'right click-delete' option. I don't want to format the card or copy every single NEF file over to the pc then go through them every time. Any ideas? Many thanks in advance.

Sounds like its not getting write ability. You should first double check the lock switch on the sd card is in the unlock position.

Otherwise there's a bunch of possibilities. Could be permission, could be mounted incorrectly, etc. A number of possibilities.

You can also try simply rebooting if you didn't already and see if that helps.

    Hi Reaper,
I am Sumit here to assist you with this question.

Several options including rename and delete have been changed to an icons menu moved at the top of the context menu.

Additionally, If you want, you can also enable the Legacy menu of 10 in Windows 11 through a regedit. Let me know if you want to upgrade again.

    Hope that helps.
