Hi! Windows 11 updates creates issues in drivers, applications and programs. I install latest drivers from my graphic card and windows update always replace this drivers with a driver that not working. You will see bellow some of this problems in my AMD graphics drivers/software... but this is also happening with many other stuff. Is any way to stop this auto driver installation updates? I mean ok for the first install after you do your format this is useful cause you don't need the CD drivers (mostly to update your motherboard like the old days), and specially for internet connection its nice that updates your Ethernet and Wi-Fi stuff auto. but when you already have the latest driver and software for your graphics cards or sound cards etc.... that the windows after founds in web a **** driver that even the God don't know from which portal is coming from, this is really bad. And Why the hell we get this **** windows 11 after we managed to get a bit stable windows 10? Imo Microsoft should stop trying update/patch Windows 11 and putt this OS in trash.

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

We fully understand the inconvenience the issue has caused and that the current situation can be frustrating.

From your description, you have been troubled by the system update driver. I will try my best to help you. You could first try the following steps to force windows to stop update the driver and disabling the system update.

    1. Type gpedit.msc in the search box and locate the following directory in the open interface.

Computer configuration > Manage templates >windows components >windows update > manage user end experience > configure automatic updates

Double click the values of these two registries. Click the drop-down box in the configure automatic update tab, select 2 or 3, and then click apply.

Computer configuration > Manage templates >windows components >windows update > Manage updates provided from windows update >windows update does not include drivers

In the windows update does not include drivers tab, click enable, and then click apply.

After performing the above two steps, you need to uninstall your graphics card driver first. Then download the hidden update tool to help you stop updating patches you don't need.

After downloading, open "wushowhide.diagcab" and click "next">Click "hide updates">Check the update items to hide and then click "next".

Keep us posted if you encounter any challenges along the process.

    Best regards
