DPC Watchdog Violation on Windows 10 Pro on Asus TUF F15 2021

Hi,

I'm getting DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSOD from sometime. I suspect a windows update has to do something about it because I do remember some updates were downloading when it first occured, not sure if updates installed though (just downloaded).

2nd issue was the dust which I resolved.

Here's my memory dump:

Here's minidump zipped files: https://mega.nz/file/2hdVAbgB#JVvlo3UHrFQFu0ekqSAz7ZRvJObu3A9_m0NDvcxTJs0

Here's the whocrashed reports:

There was lot of dust on the fans, I cleaned it, but I'm still getting the error now.

I tried reinstalling the older VGA drivers, sfc /scannow, chkdsk, windows update, windows updates uninstall, etc

My wifi adapter goes down everytime the BSOD is about to pop. Not sure if it's the wifi adapter or the display driver (indicated once in whocrashed report) or cpu heat issue (I tried running only on Silent/Perfomance instead of Turbo mode)

Appreciate any tips.

Best Regards,

Hi,

The minidump file indicates "mtkwl6ex.sys". This file is related to the MediaTek WiFi device driver.

I will recommend that you first check for any driver updates for this device. If no update is available, just try to uninstall and reinstall the Mediatek driver.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.

Hello, I also have the same equipment, more specifically the reference asus tuf gaming a15 fa506qm-hn016t, since an update I did these days, a few days ago really, I updated it and turned it off and when I turned it back on I started having these problems, when I run video games, it crashes, it starts by removing the wifi (as if the adapter ceased to exist), the screen remains frozen, the ctrl + alt + delete do not serve to defrost the computer, then after the frozen screen, the computer proceeds to restart, in some cases it does not throw the error, it only restarts and the wifi still does not work and in others before restarting, there is a black screen and it throws the blue screen saying "Stop code: DCP_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION", try to uninstall the update of windows, but when it just restarts it reinstalls, I still have the problem and I have already done many things, if I can help you in any way you can tell me what to do and I will gladly do it or I will try to do it.

I'm also facing the same problem, my wifi adapter goes down everything the Bsod about to pop. I also think it's an windows update error cause i first faced it while i was updating my PC, and now from last two days I'm facing it frequently. And it's not Cpu heat or Dust, most probably it's windows update.

If anyone find any solution then let me know.
