My Windows Laptop thinks right arrow key is held down sometimes

Hi! As you read, my PC has been having that weird problem. I have no idea how it happened, but it started doing it about a week ago. It's very annoying, and makes it hard to do normal things like typing. My only solution is press the right arrow key when it happens, which stops it for a bit. I have shut down my PC and restarted it, neither of which worked. I would appreciate it if someone helped me, maybe they have had the problem and fixed it and could tell me.

After doing the first one, it seems to have stopped. Thank you for helping!

Edit: After a while the problem occurred again. I will try the other method.

Edit 2: It seems it has stopped even though I didn't do the other method.

Edit 3: It has continued once again.

    Hi Keaton,

I am Sumit here to assist you with this question.

Usually this is due to a sticky faulty key on the Laptop keyboard.

Press Win+I Keys to open Settings.

•Go to Update and Security>Troubleshoot menu.

    •Look for Keyboard trouble-shooter.

Run it and see if it finds issues.

•When done, restart to see if the problem is resolved.

    If that does not help,

    •Right click Start.

    •Choose Device Manager

    •Expand Keyboard.

    •Right click the keyboard

    •Select Uninstall

    •Restart your computer

•If it is a wired keyboard, try connecting it to a different USB port or another computer.

•If it is a laptop Keyboard, try connecting a spare keyboard to isolate if it is a hardware problem.

You can test your keyboard using keyboard tester website.

•Also make sure the chipset and BIOS is updated.

    Hi Keaton,

Thanks. Do you have a spare keyboard to test?
