    Hello Michele&Nina,

    I am Jaspreet Singh.

While the driver ID that is missing corresponds to HP harddrive protection driver, It is not available for windows 10 since HP does not officially support windows 10 for your device.

Here is a link for windows 8 driver for the same. Please check if this helps : https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp61001-61500/sp...

    Happy Thanksgiving Jaspreet,

Just a note to thank you for your post for the missing driver. It worked, now if I could just get my spacebar key working.

    Stay safe,

    Regards,

    JD

The decision to support or not support devices depend on the manufacturer itself but usually it is due to device age (time since launch)

Your device may support windows 10 properly but some components that are proprietary will cause issues if proper drivers are not released for them.

HP has provided drivers for windows 7 and 8 for your device but not for 10.

In most cases windows 8 drivers work fine for such devices and the rest are taken care of with inbuilt drivers in windows 10 so please check the driver I listed and see if it works.
