The microphone volume is too low

Hi,

the microphone volume is too low. Yesterday everything was fine but now people cannot hear me well.

I've already tried many different approaches:

  • Check and Adjust Microphone Volume from Sound Settings
  • Check Microphone Permissions
  • Run Microphone Troubleshooter
  • Update your Drivers
  • Disable/enable device
  • Turn of Audio Enhancements for Microphone
  • Adjust Microphone Boost

I've also tested my mic many times and I've always obtained results like 2%. I'm using the mic of the laptop, no headset or other external devices, and basically I followed all the instructions that I've found at this website https://allthings.how/how-to-fix-low-microphone-volume-issue-in-windows-11/ .

After doing some test calls with different platforms (google meet, microsoft teams) I noticed something strange: people initially hear me really bad, then they suddenly hear me well, then after a few seconds they still hear me bad and so on.

    Hello John,

thanks for your fast answer! I didn't reply you immediately because the mic was performing well yesterday and I decided to wait until today. Today I still have no problems, so I'm still more confused than before. I've not done anything suspicious after writing the question on this community, neither turning the laptop off, indeed, hibernated it. Basically the problem just disappeared. Maybe it's related to some hardware components that holds some defects.

Anyway, I had already tried what you were suggesting me. Here I attach the screenshot you requested me.

Thanks a lot for your help,

    Davide
