The "Run" folder isn't showing in the registiry editor

For some reason, the language bar doesn't show up when I boot into windows 10, I can't use any microsoft store or windows app while it isn't showing up, I have to use "ctfmon.exe" for the language bar to appear

I asked this question before, and someone replied to me saying that I should set the ctf loader in the task manager startup menu to enabled

, and If the ctf loader is not showing, then I should go to registry editor and navigate to the following path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run, and create a new string, then set its value to C:\Windows\System32\ctfmon.exe.

but the "Run" folder doesn't seem to show up.

I would appreciate any help.

Thank you.

    Hi AbdElWahabAhmed,

    Sorry, I was offline.

It is very unusual that the Run key is missing, you can create that, right click the CurrentVersion folder (Key) and select New - Key and name it Run

There is only a "RunOnce" folder, does that count?

    Hi AbdElWahabAhmed,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The run folder (key) should exist in all Windows installations.

Click your Start Button, type regedit and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor.

Click View and make sure 'Address Bar' is turned on.

Paste this into the Address Bar at the top and hit Enter.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Please provide a screenshot of that Registry Editor page.

Does that not get you into the Run folder (key)?

    If not:

Paste this into the Address Bar at the top and hit Enter.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

In the left pane scroll down the sub folders of CurrentVersion, to where the Run folder (key) should be, please provide a screenshot of that window.
