An USB Storage device appeared a couple days ago, it keeps ringing the connect and disconnect sound for an usb device randomly. I can't access any files on it, and can't find a device that it would belong to.

This message was found on event manager: Device SWD\WPDBUSENUM\_??_USBSTOR#Disk&Ven_Generic&Prod_STORAGE_DEVICE&Rev_9451#9&36c5370&a#{53f56307-b6bf-11d0-94f2-00a0c91efb8b} requires further installation.

Image below is what keeps popping up in devices

    Hi Mattsson

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    1

What devices do you have connected to your PC through the USB ports?

    2

Is there any storage device connected to your Internet router?

    3

Open Disk Management (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

Expand the bottom pane, does that USB device appear in that pane, if it does, please provide a screenshot of that window
