Can't download images windows 10 & 11
I am trying to download images from google, but whenever I do, it shows in the folder as just a blank page, and when I try to open it, whether I double click or click once, it shows "how do you want to open this file", and I want to use microsoft images, but it just doesnt show up, and I tried resetting images, deleting and reinstalling it, I've looked just about everywhere to how I can fix this. All the previous images I have downloaded still work as usual, only the new ones don't work. I've also tried updating to windows 11 and reverting to 10. nothing works.

Thank you for that screenshot, that is what i needed.
That file is missing a file extension, it is just listed as 'File' not a jpg file.
Right click that file and select rename, then add .jpg to the end of the file name so it is something like Random Photo.jpg
Can you then view that image file?

Or on that menu, choose to open that file in Notepad and please provide a screenshot of that Notepad window
