How do I change the right-click on Windows 10 touchpad laptop (no left-click / right-click / middle-click keys) to register as a right click on the entire right side of the touchpad?

I have a Windows 10 HP laptop which only has a touchpad, and no right - click, middle - click or left-click keys. For a right - click to register, I have to press the lower-right part of the touchpad or tap the touchpad with 2 fingers.

I find both of these inconvenient for multiple consecutive right clicks. Is there any way to change this configuration so that a click anywhere on the right side of the touchpad (not necessarily the lower-right corner) registers as a right - click?

    Hi MrGubbo

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

There is no way in Windows to change the area on the touchpad that registers as a left or right click, that is set in the hardware sensors on the physical touchpad and is not configurable through settings.

    Hi MrGubbo

No there is no other way to change this, it is because of where the laptop manufacturer has placed the physical sensors in the touchpad, it will only register a right click in that small area and there is no 3rd party utility available to allocate the right click to the whole of the right side of the touchpad.

Some touchpad manufacturers set a two finger tap as the right click on any area of the touchpad, does that work on your touchpad?

User Dave, then is there any way for me to change this setting outside of Windows settings? Perhaps through Control Panel or some 3rd party app?

Yes, 2 finger touch right - click does work. But I find it quite cumbersome. I guess I'll have to accept it. Still, thanks for your help and your time, User Dave.
